What makes New beginnings Rainham unique ?

Government funding is intended to deliver 15 or 30 hours a week of free, high quality, flexible childcare in line with the statutory guidelines of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS ).  The government funding is not intended to cover the cost of consumables, meals , additional hours or additional services that providers like New Beginnings offer. Our offer at New Beginnings since 2005 has been to provide an Early years experience that exceeds the statutory requirements of the EYFS. We want to help parents make informed decisions about how they access the childcare funding and the charges that are associated with the funding. We also want to be clear that extra these charges are not a condition of accessing a free funded childcare place at New Beginnings.

We go above and beyond the statutory requirements.

At New Beginnings we have always prided ourselves on providing an experience over and above the statutory requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Our  itemised list of enrichment areas are detailed to make sure that our families understand what they are be charged for on the funded hours :

All staff are first aid trained and knowledge annually reviewed

Menus accrediated by the soil association

Staff are trained to support children with allergy  requirements in line with Natasha's allergy foundation.

there are many more. Please take the time to review our website and funding policy to understand why New Beginnings is going above and beyond.

Proving healthy menus that children enjoy

Our settings offer freshly cooked food which is made on the premises by our nursery cooks. A copy of the menu is available from your Nursery Manager or on the healthy eating pages of our webiste. Our menus offer a wide range of healthy, nutritionally balanced meals.

Helping you be keep up to date.

We track and measure your child’s progress and all they get up to at New Beginnings.  It’s a way for parents to feel involved and contribute to what has been happening at home , on holiday and when you are out and about.

For 0-2 year olds we provide a care diary which helps parents to understand what children have been experiencing , their meals, sleep and nappy changing to help parents feel informed in the smallest childrens day.

Even when you are due to arrive you can let us know to help assist with the transition to home via the QBell app.
