Tapestry
Tapestry builds a very special record of your child's experiences, development, and learning journey throughout their time at New Beginnings. Using photos, videos, observations and diary entries your child's key person, along with parents creates the story of your child and how they are growing and developing. These memories can be kept as a permanent record of each child's unique journey.
All the information that is held on the tapestry platform is stored securely and can be downloaded and shared as required. You will be able to view your child's progress online and see how much they are enjoying their time spent at New Beginnings with their teachers and friends.
Due to recent events and us no longer able at this moment in time to let parents enter our settings, tapestry enables there to be communication between staff and parents therefore assisting to build a shared understanding of how each child can reach their full potential.
What we do
Staff carry out observations to record significant milestones in different contexts, both adult-led and child-initiated, these can be both planned and spontaneous observations. Observations are key to evaluation and planning the next step for each child. Electronic observations using ‘Tapestry’ record the progress of each child.
