Follow These 6 Simple Steps to Claim Your Funded Childcare at New Beginnings
Step 1: Be a registered family
Visit our nursery pages to find your nearest setting offering funded childcare.
Step 2: Check your eligibility
Visit childcarechoices.gov.uk. to find out more about government childcare support and check your eligibility. If you are on some form of parental leave or you are starting a new job you need to check which term you will be eligible to claim funding. New beginnings can only apply funding with a validated code from childcare choices.
Step 3: Submit your funding code
Once registered at one of our nurseries, submit your government funding code by 28th February 2025 for April funding and 31st July 2025 for September funding.
Step 4: Acknowledgement of your funded code
You will receive a webpage confirmation acknowledging receipt of your code (we will contact you directly if your code is not valid).
Step 5: Complete a funding declaration
Prior to the start of the funded term, you will be sent an email with a link to complete your parental declaration through a system called signable (this is so we can claim your funding through the local authority – the local authority require a new form to be completed each term).
Step 6: Renew your code every 3 months to receive funding
Every three months, your code will expire. You must renew this to receive your funding each term. Your permanent code does not change, so no need to resubmit this code on our website once renewed.
